This super strong Fire/Steel type Pokemon cannot be underestimated. I first got to know Solgaleo when I installed Pokemon Sun and Moon, and immediately fell in love with its dashing appearance, which is like a lion.
Not only that, it also has the ability of Full Metal Body. So it's not surprising that Solgaleo is used as a mascot in that game series.
